As we manage many ongoing initiatives to continually enhance our business processes and reinforce the commitment to our customers, we also continue to support our communities and encourage our employees to make a difference by giving back.
We are proud to be involved in various community projects and outreach, and our employees are known for their fundraising spirit. Hobart supports their charitable initiatives through ITW's 3-to-1 Gift Matching Program. Every year, for example, we work with United Way to raise money to support local community agencies that aid local communities and families where they need it most. We also support the American Cancer Society’s main fundraiser, Relay for Life.
Additionally, our employees have been involved in various local assistance programs such as:
- Big Brothers and Big Sisters, which is a mentoring program that matches volunteers and children in need for attention and one-on-one relationships
- Leadership Troy Program, which strives to improve leadership skills in the local community through training sessions and seminars
- Lunch Buddies Program, which fosters the promotion of education and financial support for children in Troy’s elementary schools
